Doctor Who confirms full list of writers and directors for season 13
Doctor Who the bosses have revealed more key details about the upcoming 13th season, including the full list of writers and directors.

While much of his career has been built on Doctor Who, he also created and wrote a mystery drama on ITV. Broadchurch and was the chief writer for the first two series of the Davies Doctor Who spin-off, Torchwood.
Chibnall wrote every episode of the coming season, with the sole exception of the fourth episode, which he will co-write alongside Maxine Alderton, who previously wrote Season 12’s “The Haunting of Villa Diodati”.
Chibnall said Doctor Who Magazine: “She’s great. We had some really great writers planned, but a lot of our plans had to be changed.

Chibnall called the director “great visually, great with the action, great with humor and great with the cast,” adding, “Asking him to come back was obvious. “
The three remaining episodes will be headed by up-and-coming director Azhur Saleem, who previously directed Anansi boys, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman for Amazon Prime Video.
Chibnall said they plan to have Saleem straight in Season 12, but “couldn’t make it.” Doctor Who composer Segun Akinola recommended Saleem, calling him “really talented”.
