New Horizons update includes returning friends
Nintendo has really hit the jackpot with its next update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and there’s a lot to take in here with the latest addition. The update is expected to be available for download on November 5 and will also be the last free major update for New Horizons.
The trailer for the new update begins with the introduction of Brewster and in-game coffee The Roost, and mentions that players can now call amiibo villagers to have coffee with them or invite friends online.
Kappn ‘was supposed to finally arrive and the character is finally here, Kappn’ is ready to serenade players with those catchy tunes and take you to islands only he knows, which means we have brand new mysterious islands to come. visit with different types of weather and time of day surprises.
Harv Island is also getting a facelift. A shopping center will be added behind his house where players can build different trade stalls using resources. Kicks, Leif, Redd, and Sahara will now have a permanent place to sell their special items, and characters from other games will return, like Katrina and Harriet, and take to Harv Island, unlocking fortune telling and new hairstyles. Reese and Cyrus are returning to offer customization options, and Ables’ custom designs can be worn eventually, by the way. Oh, and did I mention that the band stretching out across the square is now a thing?
The Resident Hall gets new features, with the return of ordinances and more home customizations when you feel like changing the exterior of your home for the millionth time in a week. Speaking of houses, more storage locations will be added for a total of 5,000! Nook Miles can be redeemed for more items, cooking recipes, and building options.
The in-game camera has been updated to include tripod capabilities and instant first-person perspective, and KK Slider gets more songs and a cute little music box. Timmy and Tommy are also not excluded from the update. Our favorite little nephews from Nook are going to be selling new items. Finally, high demand gyroids are making a comeback and will work the same as before. Animal crossing installments.

Get Cooking: Cooking will be added to DIY recipes. After growing vegetables in your garden like tomatoes, wheat, sugarcane, potatoes, and carrots, you can combine your harvest or other ingredients and fill your dining table with delicious food. Enjoy while it’s hot!
Additional Support for Your Island Life: Nook, Inc. will provide additional support for your Island Life.
