The post-apocalyptic thriller will end after season 4

“Snowpiercer” has yet to release Season 4 but the latest updates reveal that it will be the final installment of the post-apocalyptic thriller.
In a report of DeadlineTNT was revealed to be canceling the series based on Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film of the same name, as well as the 1982 graphic novel by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette, Le Transperceneige, which inspired the film.
“We can confirm that Snowpiercer will come to an end after a successful multi-season run on TNT,” a network spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline. “Its talented writers, actors and crew took an extraordinary premise and brought it to exciting life. It was critically acclaimed, had a significant impact on the post-apocalyptic genre and now remains in the hearts and fans’ minds forever.
For those who may not be familiar with the series, it follows the story of the passengers on an ever-moving train carrying the remnants of humanity after the world has turned into a frozen wasteland.
In its first three seasons, “Snowpiercer” received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised its sci-fi mystery angle and its critical reflection on classism, social inequality, and the politics of survival, others complained about changes to its source material.
There were also the limitations of its cable TV broadcast, which limits Snowpiercer’s irreverent and anarchic forces.
Despite these bumps, the show has grown in popularity with audiences, thanks in part to its syndicated streaming on Netflix.
It is for this reason that the series received a fourth season, something that happened before season 3 aired.
In the future, unless another network picks it up, “Snowpiercer’s” run will come to an end.
At the time of this writing, the fourth and final season of “Snowpiercer” has not yet been known. Season 3 ended a few months ago so it is likely that season 4 will air in 2023.
