Update Assassins Creed Valhalla to reduce game size by over 30gb
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will receive an update next week that promises to downsize the game across all platforms. You still need to reinstall the game.
To make Valhalla smaller, the in-game data has been completely restructured. It makes the game much smaller. It will also have other perks like faster load times and better performance, so it looks like it will be worth reinstalling Valhalla from the start. Between 30 and 44 GB of storage space will be saved when people reinstall Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The PS5 version, on the other hand, will only shrink by 13GB when completed. Even though the Xbox Series S has 512 GB of space on its SSD, it only has 364 GB. This restructuring will help it a lot as it only has 364 GB of that space. In the table below, you will find information on each type of platform.
Update download size from 1.4.0 to 1.4.1:
- PC ~ 78 GB
- PS4 ~ 67 GB
- PS5 ~ 40 GB
- X1 ~ 62 GB
- XS ~ 71 GB
Disk space used after installing 1.4.1
- PC ~ 77 GB
- PS4 ~ 75 GB
- PS5 ~ 77 GB
- X1 ~ 63 GB
- XS ~ 72 GB
Disk space saved after update:
- PC ~ 34 GB
- PS4 ~ 30 GB
- PS5 ~ 13 GB
- X1 ~ 30 GB
- XS ~ 44 GB
There will be more information about this new update for Valhalla in the coming days, including when it will be released.
