This week saw some good news on the movies! From Marvel’s Mark Ruffalo Being Cast For Director Of Parasitefrom the next project, to Amy Adams’ new role as a wild suburban mother. Read about all of this, and more, below!

The Spirit Halloween movie reveals its plot

Many movies coming out these days are based on something, but the next Halloween spirit is something a little different – it’s based on the costume store chain of the same name.

Last month (April 2022) saw the announcement that the film was wrapping up, and now details have come out not only about the narrative, but about the cast and their characters.

Halloween spirit stars Christopher Lloyd (Back to the future franchise) as Alec Windsor, a wealthy real estate developer who disappeared without explanation years ago; however, his cursed spirit now haunts the town in which he died for an hour each Halloween night.

Leigh Cook (She is all that) plays Sue, a mother whose son spends the night in an abandoned mall out of defiance. When the animatronics inside become possessed, the party must also stop the spirits from possessing them.

Parasite Director Casts Mark Ruffalo in Next Feature

Bong Joon Ho, director of the 2019 hit feature film, Parasitechose Marvel’s Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette (At loggerheads, Nightmare Alley) in his new film.

Parasite was an outstanding hit when it debuted in 2019, leading to widespread success. Now Joon Ho is in the process of developing another movie that is sure to be highly rated.

Ruffalo and Collette will join previously announced cast member Robert Pattinson (The Batman).

While the roles the actors will be playing are being kept under wraps for now, we can definitely get excited for Joon Ho’s next adventure because his premiere was so amazing.

Bad Boys 4 is still in development

As many, if not all, of us know, the 2022 Oscars was something of a disaster, as Will Smith slapped actor Chris Rock in the face after a comment about Smith’s wife. This had consequences for Smith, but not everything was taken away from him.

bad boys 4, according to Sony President Tom Rothman has “been in development and still is”, suggesting the film was never delayed or put on hiatus, but simply never began development until recently .

The President said in an interview with Deadlinethat “there were no brakes to pump because the car wasn’t moving,” meaning the Oscars incident didn’t play a part in the development of bad boys 4rather that the movie just hadn’t taken off yet.

Benedict Cumberbatch cast in Jason Bourne director’s feature film

Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Marvel’s Doctor Strange, has been cast in director Paul Greengrass’ upcoming period drama, titled The hood.

There aren’t many details regarding the film at the moment as it appears to be in the very early stages of development. What is known, however, is that Cumberbatch will play a farmer who becomes the leader of the rebellion.

Early discussions of the film said the feature would be similar to the likes of Brave heart and Gladiatorwhich, with Greengrass and Cumberbatch on board, could be a very interesting and thrilling film.

Amy Adams to Star in New Hulu Movie About Mother Gone Wild

Amy Adams (The woman at the window, enchanted) will star in the upcoming Hulu movie, Night slutbased on the novel of the same name which debuted in 2021.

The book, written by Rachel Yoder, centers on a suburban mother who believes she is slowly turning into a wild dog. As she juggles this growing fear (and real-life problem), she also has to take care of her children and a tiring daily routine.

While Adams usually plays secondary characters, such as Lois Lane in the DCEU (DC Extended Universe), she is more than capable of commanding attention on her own, which will no doubt be proven once Night slut premieres on Hulu.
