Wild Hunt Next-Gen Update Gets Official Release Window

After being delayed and shelved indefinitely, the new version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Now gets an official release window for the next-gen update for the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. For those who have been waiting for it since last year, it’s finally happening in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Via the official Twitter page of Witcher series, CD Projekt Red proudly announced that the update of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 will happen by the fourth quarter of the year. The announcement was part of the celebration of the witcherseven year anniversary.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt The next-gen update was originally set with a 2021 release window, but it was unsuccessful. In April 2022, a major change for the game’s developers occurred from Saber Interactive, the developer of Evil Dead: The Game, moving to CD Projekt Red’s in-house team. After that, the game was slated for indefinite release.
Other than the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Huntother announcements were also dropped by CD Projekt Red regarding other projects in development such as GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and The Witcher: Monster Slayer. There would also be a GWENT Benefits from Throne Breaker.

The Witcher 4 also received an update that it will be built in Unreal Engine 5 where it is expected that the game will take a new direction focusing on the other characters and their stories instead of just focusing on Geralt of Rivia and his adventures .
The Witcher: Wild Hunt follows the adventure of Geralt de Riv in search of his missing daughter, Ciri, who is in grave danger as she is hunted down by Wild Hunt, an evil and supernatural being. The game was released in 2015 after The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings in 2011 and the witcher in 2007. All of these games were based and inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, the Witcher novel series.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt The next-gen upgrade will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 in the fourth quarter of 2022.
